Description

BIO 320. Biology of Plants in Our World 3-3-4
Examination of the biology of plants that humans use, and the influences humans have on plants. Particular attention will be given to the biology and ecology of plants that provide us with goods and services such as food, medicine, building materials, fuels, recreation, and plants that produce compounds that can influence human biology. Various biological principles will be explored, including cellular activities, physiological processes, genetics, evolution, and taxonomy, as well as interactions between plants and the human environment. PR: BIO 215 or CI.
