MUS 302. Music Technology 3-0-3
Music technology software and hardware. Primary focus is on computer-assisted music notation, MIDI sequencing, and basic digital audio recording. Lab activities will place an emphasis on the operation and components of hardware and software in the typical music notation, MIDI, and digital audio lab. Students will complete independent projects in areas such as music notation, MIDI sequencing, and digital audio recording. Basic composition and arranging techniques will also be addressed.
