Description

225. Personal Safety 0-2-1
This class focuses on the prevention and management of aggressive behaviors found in the work place. Special emphasis is given to (but not limited to) environments where conflict and aggression may arise from individuals being served in a professional setting such as the classroom, counseling, hospital, social service, or criminal justice. Techniques such as non-verbal communication, verbal communication, crisis intervention, assertiveness skills, personal awareness and self-assessment are introduced and practiced. Elective credit only.
