603. Curriculum Theory 3-0-3
Advanced study and critical analysis of the learning environment in P-12 schools and the relationship of curriculum construction in the context of school reform. Includes study of theorists in field, the historical traditions of school practice, and the scope and philosophies of curriculum aims. Local, state, national and international aspects of curriculum development and testing presented. PR for ICDS only: EDU 500, 501 or 580, and EDU 601. CR with permission of advisor: EDU 588 or 589.
