430. Public Economics 3-0-3
Analysis of effects of government spending and taxing policies on the market system at both the microeconomic and macroeconomic levels. Focus on total expenditures and on selected expenditures programs. Analysis of the impacts of taxation and introduction of different types of tax instruments; consideration of issues related to government debt. PR: ECO 210; MAT 111 or MAT 311; JS.
