420. Dance Pedagogy 3-0-3
The purpose of this course it to introduce, explore, and practice basic principles of learning theories and teaching models of dance technique for the various genres of dance. This class will delineate specific needs, skills, and materials that will be helpful in planning and executing a dance class, course and a projected long term, developmental curriculum. A practicum teaching experience will be incorporated into the course.
